Some Points To Pay When Building The Steel Structure Workshops

With the development of society, the current factory workshops are no longer restricted to traditional construction methods. Using new types of steel structure materials has become more and more popular to build. The steel structure construction workshop is not only low cost but also fast to build. This is why most people choose it. Although the steel structure construction has various advantages, we still need to pay attention to the following points when building.

1. The shape of the construction site should be as simple as possible. For a rectangular site, the aspect ratio is generally controlled within 1:1.5, which is more economical and reasonable. The terrain should be used for workshop layout, transportation contact, and site drainage. Normally the natural terrain slope of the construction is not more than 5‰, hilly slope is not more than 40‰, and the mountainous area slope suitable to build not more than 60‰.

2. Avoid the bellows area:

Earthquake faults and earthquake zones with a basic intensity higher than 9 degrees, debris flows, landslides, quicksands, karst caves and other hazardous areas

Poor geological area, such as collapse loess with large thickness, lately accumulated loess, Ⅰ-grade expansive soil and other geologically bad areas 

3. Mining areas, mined-out areas, and areas with dense ancient wells, ancient tombs and pits should be avoided.

4. The house area of the construction should meet the production process and transportation requirements, and should reserve land for expansion.

5. The size and compartment should be calculated acccording to the factory production and the emplyee number, 

6. For factories with waste materials and waste residues, the area to store waste materials and waste residues should meet the requirements of the service life of the factory.

7. Avoid the areas where densely constructed, with high-voltage transmission lines and engineering pipelines pass through to reduce demolition.

8. When building a steel structure factory building with a basic intensity higher than that of the Seventh High Region, the plant should be built in a soil distribution area with favorable earthquake resistance.

9. The site of the steel structure factory should not be selected the unsafe area near the downstream of the reservoir and the flood control embankment.

10. The bearing capacity of the foundation to build must meet the requirements of the construction regulations. It cannot be built blindly.
